COVID-19 PROTOCOLS & FAQS

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  • Face masks or fabric face coverings are required to be worn by employees, clients, and vendors while inside the salon even if individuals are practicing social distancing. Masks with ear loops are necessary to perform any type of hair service.  Please plan accordingly.​

 

  • We ask all guests to arrive just before the scheduled appointment time and check-in by texting or calling our salon phone. To avoid too much density in the salon, guests are to remain in their car until we've prepared a safe space for your time with us. 

 

  • Upon arrival, we'll be checking temperatures of guests and staff using No-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometers and asking COVID-19 screening questions. We further ask that all non-essential items be left at home or in the trunk of the car. Phones, pocketbooks, and keys are permitted, but we do ask everyone to please keep on person and to sanitize with every use. Water or beverage bottles are allowed, although we may ask you to drink outside to avoid removing your mask.

 

  • Only 4 stylists will be working at a time and we have moved stations to create a safe distance in-between stylists and guests. Each stylist will see 1 client at time, so no double-booking or squeezing in appointments.

 

  • The stations will be sanitized before and after each guests. We will be following all sanitation guidelines in compliance with the NC State Board of Cosmetology + guidelines from the CDC 

 

SALON STRUCTURE

  • We ask our Guests to please arrive with clean dry hair for possible dry cutting or to receive a color service.  We are washing and drying again as needed.

  • Regarding our regular 24 Hour Cancellation/No-Show policy, we are not penalizing for any last-minute cancellations due to COVID concerns or exposure.  However, please provide us with information as soon as possible so that we can adjust our schedules accordingly. Our No-Show policy stands for those who do not show up without warning.  Your deposit will either be held or you will be asked to pay a portion of your missed service to book again.

 

BOOKING/PRICING​

  • Expect to see price increases as we adjust to having fewer bookings due to capacity demands and increased use of PPE tools and equipment.  We are doing everything we can to ensure your safety, support ourselves as artists, and give you the hair you want!  Our new pricing reflects these changes.

  • We are accepting new clients again on a stylist by stylist basis.  Thank you for continued support of Arrow Studio Collective!
